Hi there!
For those of you who don't know me (are there any?) I'm ShayLee. I've got 3 pretty kick *member of the horse family* dogs (whoops, are we allowed to say that here?!), Psyche (Border Collie cross), Zoey (Mini Aussie) and Crash (Border Collie cross, littermate to Psyche).
Zoey was bought for me as a puppy a few years after losing my sheltie, Tootsie. She's likely from a puppy mill, but we didn't know better then. She's a ball. Fools around in agility, but we're not trialing.
Psyche I got at 6 months when her family didn't have time for her anymore... get a puppy for Christmas, new wears off, no more time. It's sad, but hey, I got an AMAZING dog out of it. She and I do agility, and trial, but right now are on a break to work through issues.
Crash is the newest addition, and really was a complete accident. I found him on Kijiji one night, looked at his picture and thought, "that HAS to be Psyche's brother!" and e-mailed them, asking where he'd come from, and low and behold, he's a litter mate. I let the "breeder" know, and she found him a home, but sadly, 2 months later the lady found she just didn't have time for him. I took him in as a "foster"... and now he's here for good. His "Momma Moe" still keeps in contact, sends money to help with food/vet/toy bills, and sends boxes of toys to Crash and Psyche. She really loves him, just couldn't handle it. *sigh* But I seriously adore him.
And of course, all of it all revolves around Bella, a GSD I got when I was 14 years old, she was 10 months, and I was her 5th home. She was a mess. Behavioral issues, mental issues, health issues... sadly, I lost her almost a year ago, at just under 4 years old. It broke my heart, and I still miss her every day. She is my heart dog. But her story is a long one, and one I'm just not ready to write out right now.
And as for me... well, I'm an 18 year old soon-to-be college student who's crazy about dogs, agility, and everything that goes along with that.
ETA: I love who ever decided what would replace swearing. <3
