Why can't I reply to any of these?

Sorry, Aimee, I didn't see a board to post technical difficulties....is there a trick to posting on peoples' intro threads? I can post all over this forum but there is no option for me to reply in this area to welcome new members - weird.

ETA: Just checked when II posted this - I can't even reply to my own thread here.


***ETA AGAIN**** Mandypug I see your reply but can't reply to it...but is that a new thing? A couple of days ago I was replying to intros to welcome new members...now suddenly I can't. Just curious, no biggie.

There are no replies to intro threads except for mods/admins.

Nobody can see anything beyond the welcome board until they make a post. In theory, that one post needs to be an intro rather than a comment on somebody else's thread. It's a safety precaution to cut down on lurkers looking for drama.
