Hi, I'm Corrie. I am not a native Iowan, but I have lived here for 6 years. I have also lived in Duluth, Minnesota and Portland, Oregon. I loved Portland and will probably move back there eventually. Most likely after I finish college.
I guess since this is a dog board, nobody cares about the first part of this post and everyone is wishing that I would get to the important part, my DOG, right?
I'll oblige.
I live with a 4 year old Doberman named Saga that I rescued when she was 9 months old from our local pound. Saga has many aliases: Soggy dog, pointy dog, punkin, punk, farty pants, Princess farty britches, etc.
I am also a "non custodial parent" to a an almost 5 year old blue merle Aussie named Django. While Django had been my 29th birthday present from my ex after I found him (Django that is, not the ex) on the local rescue site, after a few days he was clearly daddy's boy. Logically, when we split, we split custody of the dogs. I still see Django somewhat often since my ex and I are each other's dog sitters, so I do tend to post pics/stories of Django, and his new doggy sister, Djuno ( a Golden/Aussie mix) too.
